Animal Cruelty
In the article "2 cats slain; SPCA aide charged" by michelle sahn, the author explains how a belmar resident and x SPCA employee is charged with two counts of animal cruelty for killing two cats who were recovering from surgery. The man named daniel mann strangeled one cat with a leash and desposed of it in a near by trash can, and slammed the other on the ground and whipped it until it died. It absolutely disguses me how someone could harm such an innocent animal in such a harmful way. also how could the SPCA hire such a person with out doing a background check? according to the author the man was in prison already and was released October 2007. I hope he spends a long time in jail for what he did. I have pets of my oen including a cat and i would never hurt them.

i agree. many people consider pets as family and people dont want to hurt their family. just because they aren't human doesn't give someone the right to hurt them and kill them. and how does someone go with strangling a cat, they would have to see the pain and suffering on the animals face before it finally lost all oxygen to the brain. it makes me sick that people in the world actually do this and i feel bad for ever animal that is subjected to it as well. and how does someone that once worked for the SPCA go about hurting an animal, aren't they the ones who are trying to save the animals? people make me sick.
ReplyDeleteWhen people hurt animals it makes me absolutely sick. These types of people belong in jail and I hope this guy gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It is hard to believe that there are people like Daniel Mann in this world that hurt animals for no reason. The fact that he once worked at the SPCA is even more disturbing. It is easy to detect whether or not someone truly cares about animals, I surprised that no one realized what kind of guy he is. I don't see what those cats every did to him, they did not deserve to die like that. I have a cairn terrier and if anyone ever hurt him I would go crazy. Animals have no right to be abused, they depend on people to take care of them and help them, NOT hurt them! I hope that guy gets what he deserves because he had no right to do that to those defenseless cats.
