In this article from the New York Times, it talks about the apology that Tiger Woods made to the nation. There has been talk that he is a sex addict but in his speech he does not once mention those words. Though by the way Tiger was talking it seemed he was using a 12-step program. First created by alcoholics anonymous. The article states that the very thought of someone getting addicted to sex can bring up jokes and laughs, so therefore one may seek a medical excuse for promiscuity.

I do not think that sex addiction is an excuse. I think just because he is famous it is a big controversy. I think thats what happens when rich and famous people travel away from their spouses. For those who get caught, it is always a big ordeal in the media.

  1. I don't understand why, as a human race, we all need to peak into other people's buisness. His sex life is his sex life. Those are his personal stories that are between him and his many significant others. Yes, he may be famous, he may be a role model to some, but everyone has their faults. There's no reason to find entertainment in them when you can find entertainment in your own faults.
